Privacy Policy
Who we are
Ommune Storage Rescue ("Storage Rescue", "we") is operated by Ommune. Contact: support@ommune.com.
What Google data the app accesses, and why
When you click Sign in with Google, Google asks you to grant these permissions:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive(See, edit, create and delete all of your Google Drive files). Used to list the files you own (name, type, size, checksum, dates, thumbnail) so the app can find large, duplicate and old files; to move the files you select to Drive trash; to permanently delete items you select in trash; and to empty your Drive trash when you click "Empty Drive trash". It also reads your storage quota numbers.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify(Read, compose and send emails from your Gmail account; the app never composes or sends). Used to search for heavy or bulk emails and read their metadata only (sender, subject, date, size and whether a List-Unsubscribe header exists), and to move the emails you select to Gmail trash. The app does not read message bodies or attachments, and it cannot permanently delete email.
Nothing is deleted without your explicit two-step confirmation. Drive and Gmail items are moved to Trash first, where Google keeps them recoverable for 30 days.
Where your data goes
- Your browser only. File lists and email metadata exist only in the memory of the browser tab while you use it. They are discarded when you close the tab, reload or sign out.
- Access token. Google issues a short-lived access token (about one hour) directly to your browser. It is held in memory only. It is never written to cookies, localStorage or any server, and it is revoked when you click "Sign out".
- No transmission to us or third parties. We do not transfer, sell or share Google user data with anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
- Local preference. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice (
localStoragekeyosr-theme). It contains no account data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Ommune Storage Rescue's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Third-party services the page loads
- Google Identity Services (accounts.google.com), for sign-in. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Drive and Gmail APIs (googleapis.com), called directly from your browser.
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), which serve the typefaces. Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page and user agent) for security and abuse prevention, retained for up to 14 days. These logs never contain Google tokens or account data, because the page never sends them to our server.
Cookies and analytics
We set no cookies and use no analytics or tracking scripts. Google may set its own cookies during sign-in under its own policy.
Your choices
- Revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by clicking "Sign out".
- Because we store no Google data, there is nothing for us to export or delete. If you have questions, email us and we'll answer.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country).
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes that affect how Google user data is used will be shown in the app before they take effect.
