Terms of Service
1. The service
Ommune Storage Rescue ("the app") is a free web tool operated by Ommune that helps you find and remove files and emails that use your Google account storage. It runs in your browser and acts only on your instructions, using the permissions you grant through Google.
2. Your account and your choices
- You must be allowed to use the Google account you sign in with, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- You decide what to remove. The app suggests items, but nothing is moved to trash or deleted until you select it and confirm twice.
- Permanent deletion can't be undone. "Delete forever" and "Empty Drive trash" permanently delete items through Google. Neither we nor the app can recover them. Review carefully before confirming.
- Items moved to Trash can usually be restored from Google Drive or Gmail for 30 days, subject to Google's own policies.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the app to access accounts you're not authorised to use, to interfere with Google's services, or in breach of Google's terms. You remain bound by the Google Terms of Service.
4. Privacy
How Google data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy. In short, everything runs in your browser and we store none of your Google data.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Storage figures come from Google's APIs and may be estimates or lag behind. Google may change or limit its APIs at any time, which can affect the app.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ommune is not liable for any loss of data, files, emails, profits or other indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including deletions you confirmed. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the app (which is zero).
7. Changes and ending
We may update these terms or discontinue the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You can stop at any time and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Trademarks
Google, Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos are trademarks of Google LLC. The app is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google.
